Saving a UTF-8 CSV file in Excel (version 2019 or higher)

Steps to save the file

  1. Click on "Save As"
  2. Select Browse
  3. Drop down the list for Save as type
  4. Select CSV UTF8 as per screenshot

  1. Click File then "Save As"
  2. In the “Save As” window choose Browse
  3. In the “Save As” dialog click the Save as type from the drop down menu
  4. Select the “CSV UTF-8 (comma delimited) (*.csv)” option
  5. Click the Save button
