Canvas

Canvas is an on-site overlay that displays on web pages based on rules and logical triggers. The marketing messages display on the Canvas can contain a coupon code to help incentivise the customer to buy. A Canvas can be set to display dynamically on any page in several positions, based on the logic of your choosing.

Examples of criteria around which a canvas can be displayed include:

- Time on site

- Pages visited

- New/returning visitors

- Traffic sources (e.g. social media, CRM)

- User behaviour on-site

Why use a canvas?

- Minimise basket abandonment- Increase basket value

- Convert new / repeat customers with targeted promotions

- Issue codes based on social referrers and track their impact

- Increase conversion among a select audience with targeted offers

- Push sales for specific products or dead stock

How to set up your Canvas

  1. 1. Ask your Uniqodo contact about using the Canvas feature
  2. 2. Tell us where on-site you want the canvas to display and whom you want to target
  3. 3. Send us the creative or design guidelines for the canvas
  4. 4. Tell us about the promotion you have set up in your eCommerce platform
  5. 5. The canvas will appear on your website, only making codes visible to your chosen audience

Why not use a canvas in conjunction with another one of our features? For example, alongside a countdown timer to add an extra bit of urgency to your promotion and discourage user indecision.
